Mickleden Straddle - Sunday 2nd February 2025 at 11am

​BL category fell race over 14.3miles with 2431ft ascent
After a five year hiatus, Mickleden Straddle was back; the club happy to welcome 127 runners for the run up and over the moors on an unusually sunny & calm day.
​
The race was won by Tommy Holroyd of Holmfirth Harriers in a time of 1:42:24 with first lady Emily Cowper-Coles coming home in 9th place overall in a time of 1:53:23.
​​
The Ladies team prize was won by Todmorden Harriers whilst Holmfirth Harriers dominated the race to win the Men's team prize.
​​
Many thanks to Woodhead Mountain Rescue Team who made sure everyone returned safely off the hills.
